Version 15: Net Dummy

In the MSIcode plugins there's an entry I've not seen before called Net Dummy. I tried dragging it onto my MSIcode but it throws an "Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000." Until I know what it was meant to do the access violation doesn't bug me as I've no idea what the plugin is used for.

Any ideas?

You're up early...I'm still installing, but guessing it is a dummy framework connection for the .NET bridge.

hmmm...not seeing it in mine. Did you perhaps download and install the .NET bridge separately at some point.

I never recalled seeing it in the NX plugins although I do have a suspicion you might know something about it.

In my registry under ..\MimarSinan\InstallAware\2.0\Plug-Ins there is an entry for Net Dummy and the (Default) string contains "the Digital Farm" in its vaue.

I'll delete Net Dummy from my registry.

You are right. Very probably it has been left in some way by my Sample.

do you believe that has been installed with IA 15 setup? Strange ... because I haven't it with my IA 15 installation.

It's possible it's an artefact left over from a previous version. I've never noticed it until now. Anyway, I've nuked it from my registry.
