Recognize pressed function key

Postby mikKummerfeld » Fri Feb 15, 2013 6:32 pm

Hey Guys,

I think this may be very tricky but maybe one of you has a solution.

I want to show a chm file, if a user is pressing f1 in our setups...so is that possible with windows function or whatever...

thanks in advance
Kind regards

Dear Heiko,

unfortunately this is not possible or better it could be possible but it is not a simple thing ( ... you should create an external process which keep tracks of the Windows Message queue addressed to a particular window).

I suggest you to add a Help button to your setup dialogs and then, to catch the button selection via script to run your chm file.

It is much more simple.

Regards.

Thanks :)

I have this already..I have the chm as file bag and open a direct html content on each dialog. This works very fine but F1 would be the best.

I am developing a customer services center with IA with now about 12.000 lines of code and a lot of functions (without any installs) and this is very professional...

OK I will ask our devTeam to help me in that case
Kind regards
