New RegistryEx Plug-In for Enumerating Keys, Values

A new InstallAware plug-in has been furnished by Andy Neillans.

Called RegistryEx, this plug-in enumerates subkeys of a registry key, or values of a key. It stores the results in a variable, delimited with a character of your own choosing. You may then parse the results using Parse String.

This plug-in makes it very easy to obtain a full list of locally installed SQL Server instances, and reading all other types of data from the registry where enumeration is required and no knowledge of pre-defined keys/values is available.

Great plugin, many thanks for this..

I only have one issue:

On 64 bit system, RegistryEx only search in the 32 bit registry area (Wow6432Node), it does not react on the Set x64 installation mode.

Did I missed something or is it just for 32bit?

Does anyone know if this plugin works with InstallAware 9?

I really need a way to enumerate a registry key, but it needs to work for 32 and 64 bit win XP/7
