InstallAware 17 not installing on Windows 8.1

Hi, I'm trying to debug issues with our product installer causing a bsod on Windows 8.1. Our installer is built using InstallAware 17. To debug my problem I created a debug version of my installer and then tried to install InstallAware 17 on Windows 8.1. Unfortunately the InstallAware 17 install itself just silently fails. I see the verification dialog (see screenshot) for a while but it then just goes away.

As per the attached screen shot I'm using,
- Windows 8.1 Pro Preview, Build 9431

I'm stuck as to my next steps.

Just tested and IA 17 installs correctly on WIN 8.1. I can only suppose that there is a problem with your OS.

Hello Keith, i just have updated from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 and my version is IA 17, could u fix ur issue? i actually can't find the password, but i have requested anybody for it... well my question is, does this version has any uncompatibility with Windows 8.1?

... as I already said with my previous reply, IA 17 works fine on WIN 8.1.
