Maintenance options & Future releases of IA

Postby RonaldPB » Tue Jan 22, 2008 3:35 am

It's very easy for me to decide which version of InstallAware I want to purchase :D . But unfortunately it's not that easy to decide on the Maintenance option :?: .
On the online web shop I can choose between None, 1 year maintenance and 2 years maintenance. But nowhere I can find information about upcoming releases. It would be great if there is some information somewhere on the site on future releases of IA.

Minor upgrades are always free. Major upgrades are free if you purchased your version within 3 months of their release. With 1/2 year maintenance plans, you can extend this duration for 1/2 years.

Version 7 (7.5) does everything I need at the moment.
So what's the use of having a maintenance plan for 1 or 2 years, when I'm not sure what benefit it will bring? Maybe there will never be a new major release? It's not easy to make a rational decision on the subject!

So again my question is: do you have any information on upcoming major releases of IA?

It appears you do not perceive a need to purchase a maintenance plan at this time; in that case keep in mind that we're not trying to sell you one :)
