I have no previous experience with making installers other than some batch files I wrote 20 years ago (don't ask).
I am just now downloading (web install) the eval, so I have some questions before I get started.
My application is Delphi XE 32bit (64 bit still coming)
I will need to copy the exe and 2 other files to the install folder.
I will need to install SQL Server Express 2008 r2 and prerequisites (XP SP3, dotnet3.5 sp1, windows installer 4.5) conditionally.
I will need to copy the database.
1. which version of InstallAware must I buy to to achieve this?
2. will I need to learn lot's of complicated scripting? (I have a deadline)
Thanks in advance
Freddie

Re: Which version to buy?
Dear Freddie,
Thank you very much for your interest in InstallAware products!
I have good news for you. All of your objectives may be achieved in InstallAware using our point-and-click interface, no scripting is required!
So your minimum required edition would be Express.
However, we strongly recommend all our customers opt for our best-selling Studio edition. Having scripting, debugging, and even dialog editing; it will provide you the room for growth you will invariably need in the future - and is the best way to future-proof the investment in your product that you will be making today.
Once again, many thanks for your interest in InstallAware products!
