Automatic Vista Certification question

Postby SLI_2 » Tue Jul 17, 2007 11:58 am

How does this work exactly (getting the "Certified for Vista" logo)? Do I need to contact Microsoft, or can I do it via the Member center at partner.microsoft.com ? Can somebody elaborate please. Thank you!

Yes, you actually need to submit your application to Microsoft for testing.

That's a good question. There is supposedly a free program, where you can do the testing yourself, and submit the results for verification. On the other hand, there is Veritest who charge nearly a thousand dollars for the same thing, provided as a service. If you fail, you have to pay again :S

Sorry I don't know more...I don't know if the free program is still going, but there used to be something like that last time I checked.
