This is my first attempt at a Patch build, so I may have done something wrong, but the size of the patch and watching what happened during the build process, lead me to believe that a merge module that did not change between versions was included in the patch anyway.
Is that the expected behavior? And if so, is there some way that I can tell the patch to NOT include the merge module?

Are you hypothesizing that the MSM was included, or do you actually have proof that the MSM was included?

How would I prove it? Is there a way for me to tell what is in the patch?
I have only circumstantial evidence right now. The original install was 38 MB of which approximately 25 MB is the Crystal Reports merge module. I modified only the program executable which is approximately 2 MB. The patch is 27 MB. I watched the patch run, it ran very quickly, and I didn't see any Crystal files being installed, but the size seems out of line.
What is the normal overhead in a patch for the InstallAware pieces?
