Vista installation issue (folder/file permissions)

I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. When my installation runs on Vista PC, the $TARGETDIR$ folder gets created and all of my files get into the folder, but I cannot run any of the exe's, view the chm files. or delete any of the files. Access is denied on all of the files.

Adding the following three lines in the MSIcode just prior to the Install Files commands solved the similar problem on WinXP.

CreateFolder $TARGETDIR$
Apply Install
Grant Complete Access to File System Object "$TARGETDIR$"
Install Files...
Install Files...

I then have to manually set the permissions on each file using the Security tab in order to be able to delete the files. I'm not too found of Vista so far.

Has anybody been through this already?

I ran into the same problem on Vista Business. I fixed it by selecting "Set Chosen Users with Access Rights" and check "Everyone" + Access Rights "Read" "Write"
