InstallAware created files

Hello,
we use InstallAware for our installers. After the installation we find a file in %AppData directory

e.g. in \\Application Data\\{C3103BCE-1899-49B7-B8CD-CECA0766372E}

that has the same name as the actual installer (which is a single .exe file) but is smaller (2.3 Mb vs 38 Mb). Our developers claim this file is being created and placed there by InstallAware, and we do not have acess to it beforehand. This is a problem for us since we want all of our .exe files to be signed.
Can somebody please confirm that InstallAware does this kind of stuff and is there a way to prevent creation of this file?

The file there, is the Web Updates wrapper. If you don't want this file to be there, you we'll have to disable Web Updates.
