Pre-install runtime for SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition

I would like to know if you are planning to add the pre-install runtime for SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition. It would be great to facilitate the deployment of desktop applications.

It's very easy to do it yourself also.

Please check the whitepapers about extending the runtimes window.

That makes two people that have told me how easy it is to do

I have read the whitepaper and made a start on the exercise however I am new to IA and MSICode is completely new to me.

I have used the SQL Express mia and code as an example and was shocked when I opened checksql2005.mia . I'm sure it will all make sense to me eventually and I will read this post sometime in the future and gasp at my stupidity.

I must say though - if it's so darn easy, why hasn't it already been done?

Are you able to help me in this - am I complicating this myself?
