Ok... I created a 1.3.0.0 full install a month ago, and installed it on a clean machine.
I have done more development and now have a 1.3.0.5 full install. In that install, I told it to build a patch against 1.3.0.0. That took a really long time. Should it?
I ran the 1.3.0.5 patch on the machine where I had installed 1.3.0.0. The installed popped up a dialog asking me to browse to the original setup sources.
Please read the subtitle "Patch Source Resolution" under the Patching Title in the help file. This will give you an idea of what you need to do when patching.

Ok... So there really isn't an option to distribute the original product on a CD and us a patch to update it? Or... if you put a web-based install onto a CD, that will still accomplish the same thing?
