Hi,
We are busy upgrading our installation from 7.0 to 7.5. It would seem that on Win2000 and WinXP machines the new installation fails with:
Runtime error in setup script:
Line 387: System Error. Code: 1400.
Invalid window handle
Looking at the setup code, this error seems to happen before the pre-req screen welcome screen is shown.
Vista seems OK.
Has anyone else experienced something similar.
Regards,
D.

Can someone from InstallAware please help me!
This is a pretty serious issue...
Or you must help me find a way of downloading the old 7.0 License...
Thanks,
D.

Maybe the installer got corrupted when you downloaded it. Try downloading it again. We, here at support, have IA 7.5 installed in Vista, XP and 2000, and 2003 with no problem.

The plot thickens...
On my VMWare test bed (2000 and XP) my new installation built with 7.5 works fine...
Also, if I run the installation with '/S' it also works - just the screens is not working
So, something screen related must have changed between 7 and 7.5 - any help from the techhies?
Thanks,
D.
EDIT: EDIT: After the '/S' the installation now seems to work correctly on the broken Win200 workstation ?????
Very confused

Any help anyone?
Or, how do I get hold of the license for 7.0?
Thanks,
D.
