Install Multiple instances of same application

Hi again

How do I allow the user to install more than one instance of the same application?

According to the following thread it is'nt possible...

But as far as I understand from this article from Microsoft, it should be possible do it with Windows Installer, using instance transforms...

Is it somehow posible to do that with InstallAware?

Not yet. But we'll be adding a native scripting command that automatically derives a new instance - no need to mess with instance transforms. This will be available in the next update.

It's essential for our users to be able to install more than one instance...
