Check Box

I have 2 checkboxes on a dialogue that have the state :cbChecked.

When I go to test the the dialogue they come up checked, however when I build and run the install they are unchecked. Not sure what is going on, and ideas?

I am not sure why this is happening but you could always hard code the check boxes before the dialog comes up. Since the check boxes should write to a variable and you have to declare that variable to begin with you could just set the variable to "TRUE" to indicate that it is checked.

Might be worth a shot.

I had to set them to True in the MSI code and worked fine.

Seems sort of silly to have to do that though.

Why bother then with the checkbox state property if it doesn't work.

That is somthing I am not sure of. The only thing that I can think of why it would be doing this is because the variable that those check boxex link to are not defined until you define them if you leave them blank then they would hold no information.

It is very annoying. I have had to deal with it quite offten when creating dialogs.
