If I specify Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework as an Application Runtime and my project is marked as being in 64 bit mode, will the single file installer install the 64 bit version of .NET 2.0?
No. There is no 64-bit runtime support. I test for the existence of .NET2.0 && 64-bit then stop the installation and advise the user they need to install the .NET2.0 x64 runtime manually.
Does some-one have sample scripts to help with installing 64bit pre-reqs? I think it is a big short-coming on the InstallAware side NOT to include FULL 64 bit support!
Having the ability to swith to 64 bit mode does not really help if you can easily install the pre-reqs...
