Service Installation

Hello,

I'm using InstallAware Express version 6.

I try to create a package installation where I have to install a service.

I set the installation but when I try the installation, I can find the service in the panel Control but I can't start it.

The following message is coming :

Could not start the Borland Socket Server Service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: This service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely Fashion.

Typically, that happens if there is an error in your service itself. Have you been able to successfully run it in debug mode? If so, try manually installing it using installutil (assuming it's a .NET service) and see if that gets it to work.
