Modify and Repair modes do not work

Hi guys,

I am experiencing strange problem when uninstalling my app. If I choose “Modify Available Options” or “Repair Installation” option on maintenance screen, IA Wizard pops Browse For Folder dialog with prompt “Please locate your original setup sources to continue operation”. Even if I do so that dialog does not go away unless I press Cancel which cancels whole process.

Any help is appreciated.

If you are running a cd or single exe setup this will happen everytime you run the uninstall.exe. The srouce files that you have to locate are the files that installaware places in a temp folder when you unpack your setup. You will need to locate these files and then you should be able to unistall/modify your setup.

The way around this would be to use the web install. Doing this will source the files to the local machine verse to a temp file.
