My product has an embedded Python interpreter which creates compiled .pyc files from user's custom .py files. I only ship the raw .py files with the product, but when the product starts up the .pyc files are created. After a normal uninstall, these files and the folders they are in are left behind.
I'd like to automatically remove these files/folders during uninstall (since they are useless without the app installed). Is this possible?
The Windows Installer engine does not remove files that were modified or created outside the installer. To accomplish this use "Delete Files Recursive"
