Hi, our isntaller install a plugin/extension to explorer.exe (not internet explorer) and needs to restart explorer.exe. we could do a complete reboot but we would rather restart explorer.exe only since this is more user friendly.
Haven't tried it in IA, but I created an EXE to kill and restart explorer process. I run that EXE before uninstalling and after installing my extensions. Just need to kill explorer.exe.
