I'm in the middle of evaluating InstallAware and am looking to replace our current setups with something similar or more advanced. One of the things I want to do is be able to Have the user select which IIS Machine to install on, then pick the Web Site and then pick the Application Pool to use (or create one).
I know that getting a list of the IIS web sites is built in, but what about the other two scenarios; listing machines and listing application pools for a web site? Is this type of functionality built in? If not, how would I go about doing it?!
