Hi.
I want a project that simply adds some files to my database - instead of having the user manually copy the files we want them to execute a setup program.
However, when I create a normal project with InstallAware (using Developer 7 edition), it add the installation to the Add/Remove menu, adds a program folder for it in the start menu and allows uninstallation.
How do I make it so the user doesn't see these options? What's the best way? Is it a specific kind of project, or do I need to edit the MSI code? If it's in the MSI code, can you please tell me which commands to use and where to put them? I tried searching the forum but didn't manage to find anything that really answers my question.
Thank you,

\"Simple\" installation - just copy files
I could think of four ways(unsure if the last one works): You could
-unzip it with the 'extract 7z' command (and simply not calling apply install at all)
-Or 'install' your files (marked as 'never uninstall') and call 'apply uninstall' somewhere behind apply install.
-install them like usally and remove the registry entry (bad idea)
-pack them into a filebag, and use xcopy to copy them to their destination (and simply not calling apply install at all)
