Hello,
I am preparing a multilingual multiple installation package. Even if the language of installation is German the uninstallation starts in English. I would expect that it would start automatically in the installation aguage. According to the other posts in the forum, I think the reason is that I change the $TITLE$ variable at runtime. But this is a requirement I have to change the product name to be installed, with an input from the user at runtime. Is there a workaround for this problem?
Regards,
Serhan
uninstall language is always the default language

I am having the same problem. But when I run my uninstaller, the LANGUAGE variable is blank. I know that this is because I changed the TITLE variable during the installation. I change the TITLE variable in my installer to fix a bug which occurs when a user installs for the Current User and All Users. And when the user uninstalls one of the installations, both uninstall entries get removed in Add/Remove Programs.
Now, I took the multi-instance code that IA provides and set it up in a multi-lingual installer. And when I run the uninstaller, the LANGUAGE variable is blank.
The only real workaround for this is to setup two installers: one for English and one for the other language. But I would like to avoid making multiple installers for different languages. Please help.

i finally found a way for this, though in my setup i don't need it anymore ^^
The problem is, that the setup uses the $title$.mtx(or #title#.mtx) to translate the texts.
So when you change your title to something else it wont find the .mtx it is looking for.
You will have to include them with the correct name (that is, simply add them to the support files). You can simply use the file that is in your translation directory and rename it.
It's not nice, but it works.
Example: Your Project has the TITLE: My Project
you change it to: My Project 2.0.0
You would include the My Project.mtx as well as the same file renamed to My Project 2.0.0.mtx.
