Dialog Tab Order

I've created a new dialog box. It has 5 controls (2 text boxes and the 3 buttons). They were in tab order:-

1. Text1
2. Forward Button
3. Back Button
4. Cancel Button
5. Text2

This works ok.

When I change the tab order to:-

1. Text1
2. Text2
3. Forward Button
4. Back Button
5. Cancel Button

I get a problem with the Text2 box, it will only accept 1 char and then tabs on to the Forward button. If I click on it with the mouse I can enter text ok.

Any ideas what the problem is? Is there a fix/workaround?

I was using a Masked Edit control instead of a plain Text Edit control.

Used a plain Text Edit control and it works fine now.
