Where to add an msi file and how to execute in script

Post by moppelstroppel »

Hello all,

I have and EXE or MSI file which I want to execute during installation.
Where do I have to add the file and how I can access this file in the script?

The file should not exists on the user machine after the installation.

Thanks for your help

I tried it but I get the error
"...Web Media Block must be defined..."

and this error comes due to

Code: Select all

Define File Bag : D:\\Development\\Setup\\PostgreSQL\\postgresql-8.3.msi|, get runtime location of files into variale POSTGRE_FILEBAG
I put the code into REGION "Define Setup Globals"

Thanks for your help.
I found no help in the helpfile regarding File Bag

Define a web media block right above the File Bag statement.
