I am new to InstallAware but am currently building an install based on InstallAware 8. I add the release folder from Visual Studio to the list of files to be placed in the APPDIR folder. Build the install and then run it and when I go look there are no files in the folder. The script contains the lines which are to copy the files to the appropriate folder but they just never seem to get copied. This is on Vista Home Premium 64 bit.
Any ideas? Could this be a security related issue. My user account is part of the local administrators group on the machine.
Thanks.
Curtis

Some fundamental misunderstandings:
o You probably meant to say editing the MSIcode, not the MSI.
o Apply Install is not a check-box, its a command. Let it run and then check whether the files being copied are in place.
Please read "Setup Commands Preceding Apply Uninstall" in the help file for more information.
