Nested installs?

I have a collection of installers built with IA8. I want to create a "master" installer that sets each of these sub-installers as a feature so the user can select which programs to install.

I have added the sub-installers in the Creatives page, but how do I associate them with features?

Alternately, if there's a better way to accomplish this sort of construct, I'm all ears...

You can take a look at the Include Script mechanism.

As for association with features, just look at the MSIcode editor. There is code there which tests whether a particular feature has been selected for installation. You can insert a Run Program statement right after selection tests positive.

Tip: Use the code navigation drop-downs in the MSIcode editor. Choose Components on the left combo-box and then when you expand the right combo-box, it will help you instantly jump to the code which installs the selected feature.
