Guys,

I could not see a 'lounge' forum so I'll post my first InstallAware forum message here. Newbie alert, reporting on deck for my first watch. I just downloaded version 8 evaluation and I'm not sure if the company will authorise me to purchase it just yet. To continue the naval theme, I previously served for four years on the USS InstallShield (or HMS InstallShield for those of us in the UK). I will probably have a few InstallShield related migration questions so I hope this forum will be the right place to post them. If not, let me know which.

My user name bokkie is South African in concept. A bok is usually referred to as a springbok (our great rugby team's national emblem) and a bokkie would be a diminutive reference to a baby, junior but more pertinent it was my nickname at school. I have an english accent but it's a long story!

Be gentle me with me as I'm learning the InstallAware ropes for the first time!
