I don't have the exact syntax to hand but with IS I could assign an installation level to a feature, say 501. Then, when I run msiexec I could specify something like INSTALL=501 and all eligible features of 501 would be installed. Again, sorry if I've got the syntax wrong.
Either way, you specify the level number but I can't see an equivalent in IA. I don't use command line (msiexec) installation levels that often but I'm trying to get a handle on the things I know in IS and their equivalents in IA. My knowledge base in IA is just beginning so perhaps there's an obvious answer but I don't see it at first glance. Anyone from the IS world will probably know what I'm referring to.
Fetaure installation levels.
Fetaure installation levels.

There's no such notion in InstallAware. You can accomplish what you want to do in MSIcode script, for example read a command line parameter using the CMDLINE pre-defined variable (look up the help file index for pre-defined variables - these are very useful) and then do whatever feature selection you like using Set Feature Selection commands.
