I've got a progress bar on a dialog. If I select the Object Behavior tab the Receives Information dropdown has an item called [Written Variable Value].
What does that mean?
I'm happy with the Writes Values to Variable text box but I can't find [Written Variable Value] described in the IA help documentation.
Anyone know?
What does \"Written Variable Value\" do?

The same variable that the object is writing to it is receiving it's info from.
ie. I've got a text box which writes it's content to DATABASEFOLDER, it also Receives Information from DATABASEFOLDER.
DATABASEFOLDER is set to C:\\Databases by default, which is the value that is pre-filled into the text box.

That's quite clear now, thanks. I figured it was something like that but the wording caught me on the wrong foot. It's been one of those days.StyX wrote:The same variable that the object is writing to it is receiving it's info from.
