Is the Setup Password also prompted for updates?

Hi,

I know it is possible to apply a Setup Password which will be prompted to the user when they run the installation. However, is it possible to bypass the password request when the user checks for updates from that point on?

If your self extracting file is password protected, specify that password on the command line to your updater application using the /k parameter. Read the help file for more details on correct usage of the command line parameters for setup.
