I believe, and wanted to confirm, that the application runtimes (.NET, XML parser, SQL runtime, etc), are not uninstalled when my application is uninstalled.
Also, how can I "catch" the error when using a "Web Deploy" project that it cannot download the runtimes (for instance our web server is down, or there is no internet connection).
I would like to display my own message telling them to install the pre-requoisites manually and give them the web addresses.
Thanks!

That's what I observed unless we are both doing something wrong.[email protected] wrote:I believe, and wanted to confirm, that the application runtimes (.NET, XML parser, SQL runtime, etc), are not uninstalled when my application is uninstalled.
I'm not sure about your other questions however.

Manual error catching is not available in the current version, but it will be provided in future updates - its part of our roadmap.
Correct about runtimes, you could uninstall them too, of course - but we do not recommend that. For instance if you remove .NET, you'll be hosing a LOT of other apps on the system.
