Error during build when adding a .inf driver

Post by ajo »

Hello!,

I'm trying the InstallAware Express version, but I found a problem:

When I add a driver installation to the Advanced Options/Drivers I get this message:
Cleared output folder C:\\Users\\ajo\\Documents\\Embedded Boards WinARM\\Release\\Single\Built plug-in action Download File
Built plug-in action Download File
Built plug-in action (Un)Install MSI Setup
Error during build: At least one Web Media Block must be defined before installation commands that may require media
Any hint about how to solve that?

Thanks in advance,
Miguel Ángel.

The solution is very simple with scripting, but with Express it looks like you might need to start from scratch since you do not have access to the script editor.

What do you mean starting from scratch?

I don't understand exactly the error meaning, and I don't know how to solve it...

What's the correct way to setup a driver installation for the Express edition? :)

Thanks in advance,

OK, question rewrite......

If I had a version allowing scripting, what could I do to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Miguel Angel.

Just add an offline web media block to the top of your script!
