msi creation (upgarde)

hi there all

im able to creat a first msi of a product by using the group policy and buy choosing the comile product that creat the exe.

my question is how to create a second version of the msi (i use filezilla version 3.2.0 and 3.2.3.1 version to do my test )
with filezilla 3.23.1 to upgrade the version 3.2.0 made before ?

i know a bit about product code and revison code upgarde code etc...

but it seems the code i have in the project and the final msi create they are not the same.

how can i acheive this for deployement over GPO

Keep the product code the same and change the revision code and also update the product version. Then proceed as normally, wrapping the setup using the Group Policy Wizard if you wish to deploy it thus.

why the product code and revison seems to be different in the project and the msi ?

do you ahve some kind of tutorial in video or an explanation in pdf or else ?

for creating the second msi do i have to keep the first project

isssue i was having with oother product is the other other version the oldest was not uninstall when the new product was deploy so there was 2 entry in the add remove for the 2 version i was trying to install over GPO

hi
i was able to do the exe and he work well

when i convert it to msi when i pass the exe in the group policy it create an msi but when i run it there is some error and if i try to uninstall it there is some error also

wondering what is not working well
