\"Download File\" does not work with '@' sign in the url

Post by joltman »

We are using the "Download File" to post data to a webserver. One of the parameters in the url-string contains the users email address.

However the "Download File" always fails if the url-string contains an '@'-sign. That is of course a slight problem when dealing with email addresses.

Download File $SEND_DATA$ into $TEMPDIR$auth.txt (get result into variable ERROR_INTERNET)

Ok, here is a realy stupid question for you :)
Where can i see the version number, minor and major of installaware?
It says "Installaware 7" on the splashscreen but im guessing that you want more precise information than that?

That's good enough. This works on our most recent version, so I just wanted to double check for that red herring. The issue has already been fixed.

Ok, thank you, we will update to latest version. For now we fixed the issued by substituting the '@' with"[at]" and then reversing that on the server side.

Best regards.
