Get Problem on using extract 7zip archive

Post by abm »

Hi,
I need a help here, I tried to extract a 7zip archive with installaware 9
the code like this
Define File Bag : C:\\Market2Assembly\\temp.7zip, get runtime location of files into variable TEST
Extract 7Zip Archive c:\\Market2Assembly\\temp.7zip into folder c:\\market2(get result into variable TEST)
the problem I got is all the extracted files goes into c:\\market2 folder only instead of their subfolders they supposed to be.
when I zip the source files from 7ZIP, all subfolders zipped together and it can be extract correctly through 7ZIP open archive, but while extract from installaware with Extract 7Zip Archive, I cannot get subfolder extracted correctly.
what is wrong, can anybody help me? Urgent.
Thank in Advance.

Did you check for this? Its obvious, but never hurts to ask.
Preserve Folder Names

7Zip archives may contain files stored with folder names, relative to the root of the archive. If you would like to preserve these folder names when extracting an archive, check this option. If you would like to extract files without folder names (by just using base file names), leave this option unchecked. If an archive contains files with identical names in different subfolders, leaving this option unchecked may not extract all of those files, as identically named files will either be overwritten, or skipped.
