Our software requires Flash Player 10 for Internet Explorer. (Firefox, chrome, etc. doesn't work it needs IE version.)
Since flash player 10 is not a distributable software, is there a way for me to add some function that puts a "test" window in my installer dialog that states if you cant see this click on here for latest flash player for IE.
Or if possible, making the flash player test and install automated such as a plug in so that it is on the list of Pre-Req programs needed? Since it cant be packaged, the link would have them download the installer from adobe?
Sorry if this is confusing, I ran into this problem with the first beta group of distributing and had to tell each of them manually to open IE, go to adobe and get the latest flash player from them.
Is there some way for IA9 to get them to do this or anything similar?
Mahalo,
Scott

I would read the registry for that information using Read Registry.
