I just updated to InstallAware 9. I noticed that the files mFileBagEXE.dll, mMDACExec.dll, MSIExec.dll, and mWinRunExec.dll were updated in my project folder after I opened the install.
Some of that I understand. But why did mMDACExec.dll change? The size seems to be the same as before. Since there is not a new version of MDAC I wonder why that needed to change.
I am curious about the changes in the other dlls as well, but the MDAC is the one that I am most interested as my customers are sensitive to how pre-reqs are installed.
