Hi,
I'm using the installer to create an virtual folder with sub folders as well. But when I uninstall system, it leave some empty folders and keeps the virtual folder in IIS as well with an error.
Does anyone know how to overcome this error?
Thanks
Lilan
Having trouble with uninstalling
Lilan,
Without seeing the actual error message (it would be helpful if you posted it) I would guess that you need to explicitly remove the virtual folder and subfolders. If you used "Create Virtual Folder" to create your IIS folder then you probably need to use the "Delete Virtual Folder" command to remove it.
To remove empty directories by hand you might need to use something like this:
Call DLL Function kernel32.dll->RemoveDirectoryA
I'm not clear on your exact situation so these are just some ideas to consider.

Hi Keith,
First of all, thanks for the reply. I have added the code for deleting the virtual folder. But sometimes after uninstalling, some folders won’t get deleted in the local hard drive. There are no files in them. It’s just an empty folder.
Another problem is that, in IIS, the virtual folder won’t get deleted as well.
Thanks
Lilan
