64 bit OS or 32 bit OS

Is it possible to determine if a user's system is running a 64 bit OS or 32 bit OS? I know that it is possible to determine what type of processor a system has but I am also aware that is possible to have a 32 bit OS running on a 64 bit system in this case the system architecture could be misleading.

Yeah, I think you should use Get System Settings command with "Windows in 64 bit Mode" option.
