Hello
I have been a long standing Wise InstallMaster user and are looking to convert to something more 'modern' and maintained.
Where can I get some advice on how to achieve the following : I have a system with various 'components' and would like to create a master installer that uses different sub components, each located within their own 'setup'. E.g I will have setup.exe (master) with various other files (.EXE,.MSI???) which contains optional components to install. I tried using the 'single exe' option, but that created a huge installation EXE - I want to break that down into smaller components, that can be updated individually.
IA looks like a great product!
Thanks
Anton

Hi Anton,
In the InstallAware paradigm, the "proper way" to do this is to add each and every feature to your main install, and then splice them out of your main setup.exe file using the Web Media Block command. You could even dynamically define/delete such features based on serial number validation, etc.
Of course, the "right way" for you is what works - so the above is only a suggestion.
