Variable not defined

I am getting a "Variable not defined error" when compiling my install script although I have verified that the variable is defined by editing the dialog box with the UI widget that feeds a value to the variable. I am using IA9 Studio. I have verified the variable exists and is spelled correctly of course. Any ideas please.

You still need to define that variable using Set Variable in your MSIcode script. Defining it in the dialog editor only is a no-op if the variable is not defined in the script first.

This is also pointed out by the interactive tooltips, so if you turned them off, I'd recommend turning them back on as they help prevent lots of obvious mistakes.
