Multiple Virtual Folders and Application Pools

Post by smurrell »

Hello

I have an installer which needs to configure
and install four virtual folders and create
an application for each folder linked to either
a single application pool or a pool per folder.

All four folders are created but on only of the
folders is created into an application. I tried
different settings from Low to High and nothing
changes. Is there a bug with the Create Virtual
Folder plugin or is there another way to create
an application for each folder by running a batch
file or something.

I am running InstallAware v8.

Regards,
Simon

Did you populate the Create or Use Pool field in the Create Virtual Folder command window?

It might help to manually review the MSIcode statements generated to ensure everything is set up properly.

Yes I put information in there. I also left all the fields blank.
Here is the data from the installer.

Did you populate the Create or Use Pool field in the Create Virtual Folder command window?
Reviewing your code, I see that you did not populate that field.

Hello Michael

The settings I sent you had no values in the setting
as per previous quote. I tried the Virtual Folder
with different values in each and it still doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong or what else can I try????

Simon
