Ampersand in name becomes underline

Post by wendy »

We have a product which has an ampersand in the name (i.e., "Name&Co"). When we use "Name&Co", it says "NameCo" in the text, with the C underlined. When we use two ampersands (e.g., "Name&&Co"), it looks ok but then the installer dialog title is "Name&&Co". Is there a workaround for this without getting rid of the ampersand in the title?

Windows interprets the first ampersand character as an underline.

You could override the value of the variable $TITLE$.
