[Compiler if Variable BUILDMODE not Equals PATCH]

Post by DanStutzman »

I have been using IA now for about 2 months and for the most part I really like it.

But for the life of me when I import MSI's or repackage, my scripts end up littered with: [Compiler if Variable BUILDMODE not Equals PATCH] entries.

Could somebody please tell me in plain english what this is saying, the importance of these entries and what they do?

Thanks,

Dan

Read the patching whitepaper, it will explain the vital compiler variables concept for you along the way.

Yeah, I was staring at like 5 minutes after I posted it and I got it. Long week.

Quick question, I want to create a template file... how do I that in IA?
