An email from England reached me, sending the attached screenshot.
The Windows is English (maybe Irish), but the text in the feature selection appears in Spanish (the installer is translated to 6 languages).
The language is automatically set by the installer depending on the Operating Systems language. That is english.
What could cause this to display the message in Spanish?

Wrong language in installer messages
Hm, I don't think to upload the installer here is not a good idea (about 30 MB). Unfortunetely I can't reproduce the issue here. What Log-Information do you need?
Maybe, the attached short film of the installer may give you some ideas? It was recorded in a VMWare Virtual Machine at customers site.
A little strange is, that the decompress message at the beginning and the feature selection is in Spanish, but the cancel-question is in english. As far as I know, these are all three System messages.
You may require the VM codec for the film which is available here:

Sorry for the long gap in time, but it's hard to get information from the UK.
In the meantime I figured out myself how to reproduce this issue.
In the Regional and Language Options-Dialog of Windows 2003 there are two drop-down lists for setting language options. When installing Windows 2003 (english version) both are set to English (United States). With this setting, the installer message is displayed in english as expected. If you switch the upper dropdown-list to English (United Kingdom) the Installer messages are displayed in Spanish.
With my installer (compiled with installaware
this is reproducible.
The customer from england insits to have the English (United Kindom) setting instead of English (United States).
Do you have a solution for this?
Thanks,
compumaik
