MessageBallon at intervals?

Post by JeffTucker »

Once a new update is detected by the update system, and the task tray contains our update icon, can we show the user the MessageBallon at a 2 hr interval?

This is certainly possible, however, you will need to modify the update script.

Some way to look at time elapsed? Do I need to roll my own DLL to do this?

Hi Jeff,

Personally, I would roll my own DLL to include this functionality, however, you could do it in MSI Code by calling the Windows Sleep function but thats a bit messy in my opinion. Be sure to allow you code to exit cleanly and not block!
