I know this may differ based on install options set/selected, but is the footprint of the actual InstallAware 9 application actually always 5 GB or thereabout?
I see that, during evaluation installation many support/prerequisite runtimes (SQL, .NET Framework, etc.) are downloaded and placed on the build system.
The product I'm currently using and also the other product I'm evaluating download these items on an as needed basis.
We actually publish two different installers - one that contains all the runtimes, and one that lets you pick specifically what you want downloaded and installed - including the runtimes.
