How does \"repair\" work?
How does \"repair\" work?
I created an installation and ran it on a clean machine. Then I manually deleted some of the installed files, and ran the install again. I got the option repair/modify/remove. I repaired. It did not replace the files that I had manually removed. So, what does repair do? And how can I make it do what I wanted?
Hi Neillans,
In my case, it's an Uncompressed build. Does this have something to do with the behaviour of the repair option?
By the way, there's a related topic in which my last post has not been answered yet: http://www.installaware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3101
Any help would be very appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

So... any clues?
I have debugged my application and as far as I can see, everything is in accordance to the whitepaper provided in your website (http://www.installaware.com/msicode_scr ... nology.pdf).
I can't understand why my installer is still missing this feature.
Can anybody help me?
