How to change the (init) scheduled time to look for updates

Post by alibaba »

Hi again,
two small questions:

if I run the installer with /updatessetup to initialize update scheduling the time (to look for updates) is always set to 00:00. I tried to change it by editing the text ressources but it didn't help. I would prever a time, say 12:00, where the user pc 'normally' runs. How can I do this?

How can I change the mouse over text of the tray (update) icon? I suppose the $TITLE$ is shown there, but I want $TITLE$ Updates. Cannot find it in text ressources...

IA Support,

is there no way to do this?

At least the text for the tray icon should be change able. Where it is situated in the text ressources?

Finally found the solution for the update time in updates script. Just initialize the update client by calling $EXEFILE$ /updatesetup UPDATE_DATE=[Sundays,...] UPDATE_TIME=[desired_time]
